Dr Jayesh Prajapati has Nearly 25 years vast surgical experience in field of Surgical Oncology both in basic surgery as well as Minimally Invasive Surgery for Gastrointestinal oncology , HPB oncology, and Thoracic oncology at large teaching hospitals, regional cancer centers and corporate hospitals in Gujarat.

He has served as a Part time Associate Professor of Surgery at Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute; over 14 years as faculty. Honorary Assistant Surgeon at Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute; over 4 years as faculty.

He has experience with all types of major and minor Onco surgical procedures which includes resection of Head & Neck tumours with reconstruction, Organ preserving Head & Neck procedures, Breast conservation surgery with/without reconstruction, Gastrointestinal surgeries, Organ preservation colorectal procedures, Oesophageal Surgeries, Lung & Mediastinal tumour resections, Urogenital and Gynaecological Surgeries, Soft tissue tumour resections with reconstruction.

Experience with minimal invasive onco surgery for colorectal cancers, oesophageal cancers, gastric cancers, gynaecological cancers and hepatobiliary cancers.

Pioneering experience with VATS lung surgery.

Remote access surgery for thyroid, para-thyroid and neck dissection to avoid scar in neck.
